Default Amp Choices?

aight this is what im getting and im trying to decide what amp to get
heres what i have

Alpine 9827 Headunit

Polk MMC6500 Pair Speakers-
Power Handling (continuous) 125 w
Power Handling (peak) 250 w

Polk MM2084 8
"-
Power Handling (continuous) 200 w
Power Handling (peak) 400 w

Im thinking of doing a Polk Amp the 4 Channel C400.4

C400.4-
Channels 4/3/2 (bridgeable)
Total Dynamic Power (all ch. driven) 975 watts
14.4 Volts RMS Not Bridged @ 1kHz
4 Ohms 75 watts x 4
2 Ohms 100 watts x 4
14.4 Volts RMS Bridged
4 Ohms 200 watts x 2

Would this 4 Channel amp all i need if all i wanted was the Speakers in the panel and the 2 subs? or would it only be good for Speakers? Should i buy 2 seperate amps?

What is the impedence of the 8 inch subs you have?
if they are 2 ohm, you may want to wire them in series and run them on a bridged channel....

I'm not familiar with Polk products, but you could use this amp for all the speakers you mentioned, and is very flexable in terms of configuration.

I have a Alpine amp 4/3/2 running the doors and sub in 3 channel mode....I'm very happy with it.

That equipment will be just fine for your needs and will work well together.

I checked the specs on it and your fine. Follow the manual for hooking up the speakers. If you have any questions let me know.
