Amp with Crossovers
I don't want any flaming.
Just want everyone's opinions. I currently have 3 amps installed in my S of which only 1 has internal x-overs.
Personally I don't see the need of having built in crossovers in my setup, 2 of the amps each run a set of components(that each have a set of x-overs), the third runs a sub and a set of bass shakers.
If you are running crossovers downstream of the amp and a good eq upstream from the amps what's the purpose of the builtin x-over. Is this just something for ease of mind for those running lower quality speakers? ie those running coaxials or other non-crossover setups?
Any benefits to producing cleaner sound with less THD? O

that's what im set at. HPF for front and rear from HU. High setting on both comp amp and low setting with lower x-over point to the sub. and yes HU has a dedicated sub-output
Just wanted to hear everyone's opinions and in particular certain knowledgeable people on this board that love to flame.
