So I got the ebay box and it fits great. Haven't figured out a place to put the amp. How do you think this spot will work? Problems with overheating? The amp is only running about 1/3 power. I don't know if that affects the heat or not. Anyone have their amp there? Don't have it tied down yet. Need to figure that one out.

 

a bunch of people have their amps there (including me). I've had no
problems, but different amps may behave differently.

If you have issues, you can always mount a 120mm DC fan from a computer to blow air across it... Just power the fan off the remote terminal of the amp and you'll be fine.
