Default amp problem help please thanks

I have a v2 enclosure and the speaker wires from the amp to the box sometimes get disconnected. when trying to connect them i think i hooked it up wrong (+ to - and - to +). now my amp doesnt light up. did i blow the amp. i checked the fuse and it is fine. help thanks bye

Reversing the polarity between the sub and amp will not effect the amp - your sub will just be out of phase from the rest of the system.

If you touched both wires together when the amp was on you could have damaged the amp if it does not have a protect mode (most do and will survive the short).

Assuming you have one of my subs (V2??) - interested why/how the wires would come disconnected?

Also - what amp are you using? There may be a fuse on the amp itself that has blown.

for some reason, the wires do not stay in the slots(the things where you push in and let stick the wires in and then let go) they keep coming out. but im gonna check the amp fuse. its an mtx. thanks.

check all related fuses...

also, do you own a multi-meter?
