I just bought a Rockford Fosgate P5002 amp and since the first time it turned on its been on thermal mode and wont power the sub. I checked all the wires & fuses everything is connected right. Any suggestions on what the problem can be.

 

just recently had my system installed, my problem was scraping the paint for a better ground.

 

You were right. It was the ground wire.
