You want the air leaks, you just don't want the pressure pushing against the back of the rear speaker cones. Isolating them will improve their fidelity when paired with trunk mounted subs.

what the,

would like to see pictures of your install in the trunk... I am really thinking of taking that false wall down now....

Anybody,

It was just mentioned that the combination of this and rear speakers mounted where lucid places his might cause some trouble... can somebody elaborate? How is this different from not having the subwoofer in the trunk? I was planning on placing infinity reference 4" speakers on the rear panel just like lucid, and an amp in the tool recess. the amp maybe now in the spare tire area. with the venting on both sides next to the rear speakers, i figured the bass would sound thru better without the false wall in place.

comments?
