Another One- Stuck Installing Head Unit - Advice!
Hit a snag in the installation.
It's a JVC KD-adv38.
How did you guys get your adapter harness and head unit to clear??? I can't get my head unit all the way in. Using a caliper, I don't even have enough room. The main radio harness is in the way. Did you reroute it or something?
I have to be missing something here...
Thanks in advance

Anyone?
I can't for the life of me get the thing to work. My only other thought is to pull the harness out on the driver's side and try to loop the stuff back across the radio area.
I've been trying different methods with none of them working for hours.

with my CD400 I was able to just stuff it all in, but maybe your JVC is
deeper. sounds like you've already pulled the side panels - my memory is
there's some room behind those panels so you might be able to hide some
of the excess there (which is what I think you were suggesting).
