Default Any experience with compact subs?

I was curious if anyone has had any experience with those compact powered subs? I was looking to maybe throw one under the passenger seat for a little extra in-cabin bass. I already have a 10" in the trunk powered by an amp under the driver's seat. I haven't heard good things on the Clarion model but it seems that Kenwood makes a quality compact powered unit. It has a 6.5 inch driver and a 6.5 inch radiator for airflow.

Here is the link to what I was looking at:
Kenwood KSC-SW1

Didn't want to waste money if it wasn't worth it, but the compactness of it is pretty nice. Thanks for the feedback.

EDIT: The search gave me this link from '03

but this was a different product, different shape. Said it wouldn't fit but the new Kenwood sub looks a lot slimmer.

I'm skeptical it would fit under either seat (according to Crutchfield it's:
15-3/4"W x 3-3/4"H x 9"D). Would probably fit in the passenger footwell without giving up too much room if you removed the foam spacer under the carpet.
I've been contemplating a custom box with a JL 6w0 for this space - a few people have put in footwell subs, at least some of them by cutting through the floor to open up extra volume for the box. Personally I'd rather not cut, hence the small sub which needs very little volume.
Has anybody tried this?

I have that Kenwood mini sub unit in my boat, and it's surprisingly good for its small size, but I don't see where there would be room for it inside the S2k, unless you're ok with the seat not going back nearly all the way. In fact, you'd need to keep it at least 5" from the furthest back position. That sub is about 4" deep and you'd need at least some space in front of it. If that works for you, it's not a bad cheap alternative. The remote is handy. I would not put this sub in the trunk... don't think you'd get much out of it there.

Another option if you want to keep things relatively stealth and without spending a lot, is to buy a small 2 channel amp, which you'd put in the trunk behind the panel and above the gas tank... out of sight... and then drop two Bass Shakers in the pockets behind the seats. Bass Shakers are only 2" deep and don't need extra space to work, so 3" more legroom than if you stuck that Kenwood unit back there.
