Default Any recommendations about which amplifier to use for under seat installation

I was thinking about installing a 4 channel amp under the driver's seat and I would greatly appreciate any feedback on amp choice and tips or stories from anyone that has already installed one. I already looked at the Alpine, Zapco, Fosgate, and JL 4 channel amps and none would seem to fit under the seat without blocking the seat operation.

The only 4 channel amp that I found that woudl fit under the seat (passenger side) is the Blaupunkt PA4100 (once you remove the amp from the plastic case).

I use a Phoenix Gold XS4600 under my seat in my Subaru and there is extra space there... however, I think there is less space under the s2k's seat, but you should check it out.

there's space under there, but it's limited, and in most cases, you can't slide the seat far forward, either. why not just do it in the trunk? the side sills are easy enough to remove. it's not as tough getting from the trunk to the cabin area as you may think.

Go Blaupunkt! Small, under-rated, powerful for the size/dollar. I have installed 6 of these amps under S2000 driver seats and have been able to achieve a clean install while allowing for movement of the seat for both drivers, short and long legged.

Thanks for the info. I looked at the specs on the XS4600 14.25"L x 9.25"W x 2.1"H which is longer than the alpine MRV-F340 11-13/16

Do you know if the PA4100 can be run in 3 channel mode with the 2 satellite speakers and a bridged subwoofer output?
