Default Any trick to removing this plug?

I'm removing an aftermarket alarm in my S2k. Fortunately there are only t taps wiring it in, so it's easy to pull the harness off. However I'm having difficulty pulling this plug in the photo out to get at the remaining t taps and cover the wounds in the wire. It's up under the left side of the dash, near the left knee. If you were to put your hand on the hood latch release, then go straight up and back toward yourself that's where you'll find it.

I played around with it for a half hour before giving up today. The white piece (top center on the plug in the photo) does seem to depress, but it never popped loose, and the space is very tight.

Hi ragtophardtop - it's probably just stuck a bit from being in place so long. No trick - just depress the catch, but try using a really small screwdriver on the side as you do it to help pry it from the socket. It may just be stuck in there. A little wiggling also helps, but it can be tough to hold the catch, wiggle and pull all at the same time.
