I was about to order my stuff from Crutchfield till I came across this site (http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/). My total on crutchfield was 650....and then it was 460 on this site. Anyone ever order anything from them?


Are they refurbished units or made for other countries or what?

 

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!! I'm still waiting on stuff that I ordered over a month ago.

:Edit: Or just make sure that they have everything in stock that you want to order. Also don't bother trying to call them, you have to email them.

 

They scared me lol so I orderd from Crutchfield!

 

Sites like that always claim everything is in stock, but when it comes time to ship they don't have it for one reason or another. These places are NOT warehouses stocked with stuff, they are typically small "boiler rooms" with a handful of phones to take orders... they order from a warehouse when you place your order and have it drop shipped with their name on it.

Also, there's no guarantee where the item came from. Often times the items are refurbs packaged as new or the "fell off the back of a truck". Some companies will refuse to warranty these items as they didn't come from a standard dealer.

Caveat emptor...

 

Yeah that's the crap I didint want to deal with. So I went with crutchfield!
