Default upgrade ap1 to ap2 oem sound

Well i just aquired my 01 s2k last week and im lovin it so far but the factory sound is weaksauce. I know the newer ones have a much more impressive setup and i was wondering if it is common/doable to upgrade to that.

no....the cost per sauce value is still low.

If you are going to drop the coin....aftermarket. If you want to keep is simple...HU and components in the doors.

Agree. I had an AP1, now have AP2. Don't spend the coin on the difference. Go aftermarket.

AP2 is horrible as well. Spend the coin on a nice HU and components like the others said.

Is it possible to change the door panels for S2k owners without tweeters?

I changed the head unit, and the component speakers but It's still tough to clearly hear the speakers since they're down low. I wonder if adding tweeters would make a drastic difference.
