I have the Clarion 835MP. It plays mp3, wma, and Sirius. Color matches the s2000 amber gauges perfectly!!

My vote is for the Alpine 9815, upgraded to this unit a little while back and love it! It has a very nifty 3 button search feature that is great for .mp3's and XM radio

Also, you cannot close the HU door with the faceplate on.
I'd like to hear Hyper's response to this, because the headunit looks like a good model otherwise.

I don't like the asymmetrical appearance of the Alpine units. Also the buttons and LCD dot matrix display look very "80s." I know they are good units, but I just can't get over the appearance. Sorry.

Talk to the SoundDomain.com/CarDomain.com guys in the PacNW, they have an S2000. If only I could remember their name... I personally run the RF RAVDVD1 and love it.

I would suggest an MP3 Disc CD Player.
This way you can put 100 songs on one MP3 CD.
I myself went with the Pioneer DEH-740MP .
This unit is at least a year old now so trying to find it might be tough. Try here

http://www1.dealtime.com/xPF-Pioneer_DEH_P740

FYI
Read my post and others on this other link for insight as to how to hook up the PAC-SWIX which you will need to retain your factory dash controls .

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...threadid=101380

Firstly, One note of Caution. Since the PAC SWIX emulates the
wireless remote of your aftermarket radio it is important that
you pick a radio with a remote that has all of the S200O Dash Control
functions.
My Pioneer did not have a MODE button to switch between CD and Radio on the wireless remote so I used my Big Dash Button as a PAUSE CD Button instead. I decided to go with the Pioneer because
I loved the display and hardly ever listen to the radio.

The PAC SWIX works well.
There is a small delay though that is normal.
A small price to pay for upgrading the Stock 15 W Stereo to
a Pioneer 200 W MP3 Player that will even play unfinalized Discs.
I think I have the DEH740 MP . Beautiful Screensavers and VU Meters to amuse you at Traffic Lights !

It was nice to retain the Dash Controls.
Lucid's install instructions are excellent.

Mucho Props Lucid !

I just installed a 9815 this weekend and I love it. Next month I will add my amps and sub that are sitting in my closet.

I can get the Alpine 9815 from a local stereo shop through a fellow S2000 owner at $360.00 if anyone wants one. Just PM me.
