Default Anyone use XTC speaker baffles?

i have heard a few good things about these baffles being able to control bass better.

i tried them today with only a small hole in the foam for the wire. i hated it. the baffle decreased the bass response from my diamonds hex series. i thought it would increase it.

i was too lazy to try cutting half the foam out but i dont know what difference it would make from being aired out.

anyone have any input?

i was thinking i can cut half of the back foam away and it would be a bigg difference.

i dont care about water getting into the speaker as my car doesnt see much rain.

I used these but cut lots of holes in their bottom half. I only used them as water protection for the speakers.

Cut the bottom part out like the person above posted. Use them for water protection only.

they are very soft. you can cut them with just a simple pair of scissors or a razor blade.

mind you they will make your ring stick out about another 1/8 or so.

i might try them again in the gf car but will cut more than half out
