Default Boston acoustics z6

I am able to get my hand on a set of these for a really good price. I looked it up and it said the speakers do not fit in the S2000. Is there a way to make it fit with the wooden speaker extensions that i have seen people use? What kind of amp and power will i need to power these speakers so that they sound good. Also what are peoples opinions on these speakers. I've seen the retail on these for $900-1000 and about 500-600 on ebay but i wasnt sure if these are good speakers. Please let me know your opinions.

Thanks

John

In another post, deppenma said:

" I have the Z6's in my doors.

Cut the back out of the oem water shield and used a XTC foam insert to protect the speaker from water.

The plastic ring that was left after the back piece being cut out was reused as a spacer. "

Don't forget to cut out the bottom of XTC baffle 1" x 3" for air circulate, use the door as the baffle.

For the amp, I have Boston GT-24 125 w/ch rms at 12 volts and more than 140 w/ch at 14.4 volts.
