Default Attaching amp power wire to battery

Do I need to use a proper battery terminal to attach the amp power wire to the battery or can I get some sort of crimp on ring connector from radio shack ?

Also say I have a amp rated at 30 amps do I use a 30 amp fuse or a higher rated fuse?

Thanks

I'd reccomend that you get a proper battery terminal but using a ring terminal will work fine too. you can hook it to the battery terminal or to the stud in the fuse box. I don't have any pictures, maybe someone here will.
Unless you have more than just the 1 amp attached, use a 30 amp fuse.
