Attn Electronic Gerus: advice requested
I am looking at the following:
Kenwood or Alpine head unit - $300
A good set of components: Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.5 - $200
Infinity Kappa Perfect 12 inch Sub - $150
Directed Audio Amp 600 x 4 - $300
Bridge 2 channels to power the subwoofer
Will 250 watts be enough for a Kicker 12 inch solo baric L7 because I am also considering that sub? Will it be enough for the 12 inch perfect sub?
So my budget is approximately $1,000 or a little over.
feel free to change the parts around and critique my possible set up

The equipment is good.
Alpine CDA-9833 is a great HU. And can be had for just a little over $300.
The Infinity Perfects are a great set of componants.
The sub if fine but you could do better for about the same price. But its not bad. The Kicker can sound great if it has enough power.
That amp is ok but you can do better I feel. I like Alpine, Soundstream, Xtant, JL, and a few others.
Who will be installing the system yourself or a shop? I can help you get all your cabling for a great price.

I will be installing my system myself and I will most likely be constructing the box.
What amp do you reccommend to push a 12 inch solo baric L7 and infinity kappa perfects?

600x4....unlikely. Any company that rates amps like that Id steer clear from. Everything else sounds great. Get an amp that is 125x4 @ 4 ohms...RMS
