Default Audio controls

Evening all

Recently installed the above stereo into my 2001 model, but can't help but miss the audio controls

I was wondering if anyone knows of any working brands with the pioneers? It's the one with the rear mounted 3.5mm jack for the controls

Autoleads suggested PC99-X61 and PC99-SON/PIO adaptor lead, however I was never a fan of them as I tried 3 different ones in my previous car and they never worked or more amusingly, my horn worked through the volume controls

Will they work problem free?

Regards

Tom

Bob, the owner, is a great guy. You may find the website a little difficult to navigate but he should have a DCI for your head unit (email him if you don't see it listed). I recently purchased a JVC HU for my S and everything works great. I especially like the feature that lets you tailor the volume to adjust (up or down) based on your vehicle speed. No more turning the radio down as you come to a stop and then turning it up again as get up to speed. If you decide to order a Modifry DCI, I highly recommend buying the adapter..it is well worth the money. Obviously, you are going to need to remove the HU to perform the installation. If you read through the install instructions, it will tell you how your dash controls will work based upon the brand of HU that you install. Good Luck!

**IMO, I would stick with the wired DCI if possible.

Modifry DCI is always highly recommended. Don't overlook prior threads on DCI's. They're a very common topic in this subforum.
