I just wanted to get a few opinions on what would sound best for my next little project that I am going to undertake.

I currently just have a pioneer headunit, and stock front speakers.

I just got a 2nd set of the interior panels for the hardtop (to the side of the headrests), and was planning on mounting a speaker in each side.

But I just wanted to get some opinions about if they will sound decent in there before I do it. I know I will probably have to put more of the output to the front ones versus the rear so that they arent way overpowered since they are sitting right by your head.

But do you think it will sound oK?

boston componets up front , screw the backs you have a hardtop , zapco 400x2 for the fronts , get a JL w6v2 , then a zapco 400x1 for that , 1 gauge kicker wiring (most flexable stuff out there and 4500 strains) alumapro 5 farad cap with distro. change the headunit to an eclipse cd5000 , 8v preouts will give you alot more line drive to the amps causing them to work less but put out more.

JL amps and subs.....i love mine sound great, never had any problems!

Interior (components most likely) speakers are all preference and price range.....(but i guess thats the case with ALL audio equipment)

So does anyone think it would be a good idea to put the speakers in those panels?

I kinda wanted to, just to have something a little different, but didnt really think it over too much since im not too much of an audiophile.

more stuff to potentially rattle... plus you may get a hollow "concert" sound depending on how it's angled , how much air space , the encloser ect...
