Well i just installed a new HU (kenwood) and new speakers (Polks).

When i got it all together and turned it on, the pass. side speakers was SUPER quiet. i looked in the settings to make sure the balance wasnt off (it wasnt) and right before im about to turn off the car and check the wires, it normalizes (goes to the same volue as the drivers side).. what im wondering, is what could have caused that? a loose wire? maybe i mixed the wires up (positive on negative).. but wouldnt those two product no sound at all, not just faint?

 

sounds like a +/- switched.

 

or the speaker is grounded to the car and shorted out.
