Default Pretty basic speaker question, sorry I'm a newbie to the stereo scene...

I went to the Lucid site and they point out 2 different, easy drop in speaker upgrades, one from Panasonic (DC 162) and one from Kenwood (1687). Then I went to Crutchfield and they have tons of 6.5in round speakers. The ones from Lucid are for around $90, and on Crutchfield, there are some Kenwood excelon KFC-Xr601 that are 179.95. Will they not fit? They are 6.5in round? With money no object, but I would like an easy drop in speaker, what should I get?? Thanks for any replies....

Will simply improving the speakers make it sound better? I'm not looking to knock anyone's socks off, I just want to be able to hear it with the top down. Will I need to add an amp, or will simply putting in the new speakers make a big enough improvement?
