Whoah, end of the month? That should allow time to break in your speakers.

What exactly did you end up ordering? Did you order the Imagine series speakers? I actually just upgraded from the Imagines to another line from Hybrid Audio. I can't recommend the Imagines enough however.

I do believe I sent you a PM about my Imagine speakers prior to selling them but I don't believe I received a reply.

Anyway, if you did purchase the Imagines, run them as coaxials or be prepared to add resistors or LPads to attenuate.

Wont have everything in until the 13th or 14th, so install wont be until that weekend + no need to review until everything is broke in and i've had some time to live with the new setup for a while

I did get your PM but I was on a business trip when i read it and just forgot to reply. I did end up going with the Imagines and everything else stayed the same as the 1st post. Pretty sure my discretionary funds are cut off for a little while... but then again i'm single so i dont have anyone to answer to for spending monies on my toys. S is probably good for a while, but i've been eyeing something with 2 fewer wheels for a while now.

There isn't really much of a comparison between the CDE-123 and the CDA-117. The CDA-117 is far and away the better head unit.
