Finally got rid of that junkie Honda stock system today!New one sounds 1000% better. The only thing I regret is losing DASH controls, hopefully there will be a fix available (everywhere) soon. I wish the bass was a little better. The installer said if I wasn't satisfied, he would "cut holes in sound-deadening material," but I'm generally satisfied. Anyways, here is what Unique Car Audio in Phoenix put in:

Eclipse Head (54410) CD in-dash

Eclipse 8 Disk CD changer (5083)
Eclipse 6.5's 2-Way (8263)
Crossfire 4 channel Amp (Tek50.4)
JL Audio Sub 10" woofer Custom Box (in trunk, took out tool box/kit put in JL and changer, no space compromised)

Hate to say it man but you didnt do your homework enough! If your head unit has a remote and a mute lead for a cell phone off the radio I can get your dash controls back up and running just like new!

Please contact me if your interested. We can even arrange it so there will be next to no down time of your radio if any.

Pinky is no longer active on here but you can buy a unit that works similar to Pinky's unit.

As always: Modifry DCI. Not sure why it was removed from the Electronics FAQ but it is mentioned in many threads asking about retaining dash controls.
