I have an '04 that I recently purchased and have had poor AM reception from the get-go. Even the FM can be really fuzzy at times. My 11 year old Saturn with 180k miles gets much better reception on the am stations. I've read through a bunch of threads from everything about it being an inferior stock radio/antenna system, to unplugged leads, etc.

Could someone point me in the right direction? Is it worth taking it to the dealer? I am still under my Honda certified b2b warranty. I just hate wasting time taking it to the dealer.

We have an amplified antenna system. Maybe the power is not getting to the amplifier, which is in the trunk, under the antenna mast. You should also have warranty on your car. Get them to fix it.
