Default Beeping after pulling out the key

I've changed the head unit and now it beeps like three times when I pull out my key. I know that it has to do with the oem security feature that is no longer there. Do you guys just ignore it or was there a step that I missed?

It sounds like something specific to the NEW head unit. The OEM radio security thing was self-contained in the radio itself.

Pioneer DEH-P7300 is the head. I remember on the oem head a red light would flash like 3 times once the key was removed. That's why I thought it was related. So none of you other guys heard beeps? Then it must be unit specific.

The Pioneer DEH-P7300 has a feature that if you don't remove the face plate it will emit some beeps to let you know that you did not detach it.. That feature can be turn off just look it up in the manual
