Looking for a amp that would be a good match for the Polk DB6501 component speakers.

Price - $150 under


My cars too loud to pay for sound quality.

Could I do away with the amp and spend the money on a good HEAD UNIT? If so what kind?
My head unit now is not stock it's a JVC KD-HDR1 any good for these speakers or junk?

 

I'm was running kenwood kac 8405 with the 6501's. it is priced in your range. Never a problem with it.

Sure you can but do you want an amp or a head unit?

 

I'm told i need a amp to push these speakers to there correct levels. I have a Head unit but don't know if it's good enough for those speakers. So not sure what I need.
