i remember Dave getting into it a couple times w/ me...
Unless you can dig up an old thread for us to laugh about it....

Its all good times, and we would all let each other crash in our homes, so we are all buds.....
Im off to BBQ~!
The math is more than likely under estimated if anything. If it helps at all, I was the #1 installer at CC in the nation my first full year there (2002) and one of 15 to be sent to Daytona Beach in 2003 for being the best yet again. To give the point of view, there are about 650 CC's around the country, with an average between 4-10 installers per shop, depending on the size. So being #1 out of roughly 3000++ installers means I may know a thing or two about a thing or two. And I believe the most cars Ive done in one day was 20.
Installers at these big retail companies get their speed from having desire, dedication and most importantly repititious installs.
Im pretty fast, but all my work is neat and perfect so that slows me down a bit, but where I excel is I dont tire out or get lazy during the day. Ive worked with guys so friggin fast its mind boggling.
Some vehicles take less than a minute, some take many hours...
Dont know who lied to you, tsunami interconnects are far from crap. And its not a sales pitch, its common sense. I didnt try to sell him anything, I just let him know that the quality of the audio is directly related to the quality of the product you are using...the choice is his, I just like to provide some explanation to the customer so they have a firm basis to make a decision. I dont try to push anything on anyone, ever.
and again, dont take this the wrong way, but Im going to steal one of Shaq's lines...when it comes to installing, I gotz skillz! Whether you want to believe it or not is not of any concern to me. I mean, why would you even say something like that. Not to beat a dead horse, but the whole door trigger thing from my previous bannings...(ahh, those were the days) leads me to believe most on here are only hobbyist installers and only do such installations on occasion. I do installs every day, I know what Im talking about.
Seriously, call DEI and tell one of their techs that the wire colors I provided are false and see how hard they laugh at you (1-800-876-0800...toll free)...aside from metra, DEI techs have very little tolerance for people questioning them...Metra, forget about it...you'd better not even think of questioning anything they say...those guys are great, I love em!
Think before you post bro...and when you see the install in my car after its complete, you'll then know and all of your doubts will vanish.

(A)People who work at circuit city dont know sh!t because they always give the wrong advice (I usually ask them questions that I ALREADY KNOW THE ANSWER TO, and they give a totally BS answer.....
(B) Circuit city pays "d!ck," and if you had real "skillz" you would work at a real shop, making 25 an hour.
How does that saying go...denial isnt just a river in egypt? However it goes
Again, it makes no difference to me if you believe me or not...Im the one being told I dont know anyhting and I cant do this or that...as if Im 'suppose' to prove something.
Thats where you and I differ...I dont have to prove anything, I know what I can and cant do.
...hmm, ask me a question you already know the answer to and lets see...
My hourly rate just about equals that...

my suggestion is to do as you have so far. stick to posting what you know, and post with an open mind. understand that there ARE more knowledgeable people than yourself on this forum. you were banned for giving poor and possibly even dangerous advice. that kind of behavior won't be tolerated from someone who is a know-it-all.
and that's my .02.
