Hey guys, im having trouble getting the speed to display on the Blitz unit. RPM, oil temp, oil pressure, and boost all work fine. Are we missing something?
I found this doing a search.
"The ECM has a terminal A9 which is called "Vehicle Speed Input (VSS)" it goes to the Vehicle Speed Sensor via a Blue/White wire (also goes to the Gauge Assembly with a Blue/White wire).
The Speed Sensor is mounted on the Transmission on the left side. It has a 3 wire connector with Black (ground), Blue/White (Sensor output to the ECM) and Yellow/Blue (Reference Voltage)"
My mech double checked, and he said it is connected to the "blue/white" wire. Any help/input would be greatly appreciated! Thxs
The blue white wire is located right under the passenger side airbag, behind the panel on the lower section of the dash. Modifry has a picture of it somewhere here...

According to my mech it is wired to the "blue/white" wire and its still not working. At a low steady rpm's it will show a few mph off, then once you speed up it throws out random numbers. I did a search for "Modifry", but couldnt find anything related...thxs!
It sound like it could be the wiring. Make sure they solder it on... not use those stupid scotchlocks. Its might work as you start to go but then the movement of the car going shakes it loose enough to give you weird numbers. Tell them to solder all the connections. If that doesn't fix it they either have it wired incorrectly or there's something wrong with the unit perhaps.

Ok cool, i'll ask him to try solder the wires. Unfortunately we dont have another unit to test with.
Yeah well if everything else in the unit works fine I would bet its not the unit. Have the rewire everything, making sure to solder all the connections.... once repaired and working kick them in the balls for not doing it right the first time
