Default Blown Door Speaker

I have had my 2006 S for maybe 6-7 weeks and I replaced the factory headunit with an Apline CDA-9887. I am pushing about 45w x 4. The tweeters in the door and roll hoops sound great, but I have totally smoked the speaker in the pass. door.

I am looking for recommendations for speakers. I want to retain the bass response the factory speakers have, but I don't want to break the bank. Quarts and Focals, I think are out. I only need mid-range drivers as you all know, the doors have tweets.

Also, does the Honda Certified warranty cover speakers?

You're gonna be better off replacing both of the components as a set rather than keeping your factory front tweeters. I have the Polk MMC6500 and I'm quite happy with them. I think they've been discontinued so you can find some good prices on them; ~$180 or less. You would definitely enjoy them more if you amp them though.

Just an FYI. The actual RMS rating is much lower on the alpine stereo at 18w RMS.
