I agree! No offense to your musical tastes or setup of course, but my friend has a RSX and the sub absolutely blows (I even switched the wires around which did make it louder). It's more of "bass noise" (and not much of it) rather than the low end of the musical spectrum.

I'm glad you like the setup though, because that is all that matters!

Dang, I don't know where you guys are getting these subs for 25 bux, everyone I've talked to on the rsx forum wants around 100 or more for it =/ I guess I'm gonna wait for wlaurent's enclosure, 150 is such a rip off for a 6" oem sub.

I'm not saying that I don't believe u guys got it for less then 50, I just think its bs that ppl on there are tryin to tell me that they get offers for 150 for it. Well deson't realli matter anyways, its better to wait for a quality sub then to settle with something cheap. Not to diss on STL or Ricky, I guses I just need something a bit more

Everyone has their own opinion on what makes them happy, and to those guys I still give u props on your clean setup.

There are some chats in forums.clubrsx.com about S2k owners like Bose Sub, some RSX-S owners may try to get the most money as they can for their subs and that is understandable.

I think that RSX-S Bose Sub is good for a mild stereo upgrade, specially if it costs less than $30 - $35.

I am happy with mine. I don't need door shaking bass. I paid $50 shipped for mine.

I visited my local autoshow this afternoon. Popped open the hatch of a Nissan Murano, guess what I found. A Bose Subwoofer in the sparetire appearing to be similiar if not identical to the RSX sub. Thought i'd share with everyone my finding.

The sub is okay if the rest of your system is stock otherwise sell it or throw it in the garage as I did.

My MB Quart Discus 6.5's have better bass than the bose sub.
