Just to chime in on the PG Xenon amps. I completely understand everyone's points about their pros and cons. The one thing I find nice about the same power at any impedance is that with one of the monoblock models you can run virtually any sub that can handle the supplied power regardless of whether it is a DVC 4 ohm, DVC 2 ohm, SVC 4 ohm, etc. This makes it much easier to choose/change sub without having to worry if it will wire up correctly to your existing amp.

With the rate some of us change our subs and audio equipment, a little flexibility can be nice.

Just my opinion.

I definitely look forward to the next meet (Atlanta - Southeastern meet) to get a chance to see and hear other S2K's and their systems. This will be a good way to compare mine to others.

My friend suggested I take photos and listen to many other S2000's to compare. He said that mine will be quite impressive, if not better, than many other set ups because of it's power and clarity. So we'll definitely have to compare. I want to see if there are other better sounding subs and enclosures. I think my mids/highs rock, but I may consider the Focal 165KP's to give me that extra mid-bass kick and a little more volume. And with the current setup, I don't think I'll need rear speakers. But because of the amp being a 5 channel, I could always change it to incorporate rear speakers and not lose volume or clarity. So that's an option too.

I'm impressed at the moment and much happier. I didn't want to spend more money or have to go through having everything changed to get sound that I wanted.

Although, I'm still debating changing out the deck. I didn't realize how unattractive the display is on the Clarion as compared to the Alpine or even the Eclipse. So I'm thinking of doing a swap. I'll give it the weekend to decide.

Thanks again for everyone's feedback! This thread has rocked, and I have learned quite a bit. I could easily go back and order many things online and know how to set up a completely different system for the S2K and have everything compliment each other.

I'm sure others have picked up some good tips along the way as well!

Hmmm...my OEM lip, side strakes and spoiler should be here today or within the next few days. Then my S2K will be looking hella sweet!

LOL!

No ugly dynomat under my trunk lid. I need to figure out another option.

We'll check it out tonight to see for sure! I think you'll be as impressed as I was.

I'm hoping my OEM lip, etc come tonight too. We'll see when I get home.

PJK3,

Since you know what you're talking about, I'll be a bit more specific on the whole "overpowering" thing.
