Can I install the power fuse holder in the trunk?
it should be as close to the battery as possible (within 1 foot or less), as
otherwise it is not protecting the power wire if you get a short before the
fuse. For instance, if the insulation wore off the power wire where it passes
through the firewall, nothing would stop the tremendous current the battery
produces from passing through the power wire, which would likely catch on
fire.
