I would say the Panavise so you can still see it and quickly shuffle through the songs.

But yeah. I agree. The center console is the best place for it. It's easily lockable, the strap holds it securely in place, and you don't have to drill anything to get the cabling in there. You can fish the cable through the hinge.

But then again, I had the track titles showing on my alpine unit, so if you don't have any type of display, the panavise might be a better choice for you. I'm not a fan of the look though.

With the Aux-in for OEM HU, I had an Ipod Nano attached to Radio door cover, it was nice. Able to change tracks easily and see the screen.

But now with a Pioneer that has text on HU and playlist searching, the Ipod is tucked away out of sight.
