well i did the right thing a let a dei installer installed my alarm, but now he is stuck on gettin the remote start to work. He has tried to immobilizer bypass (the one that doesnt need a key) and also try to leave the key in the ignition but still the remote start doesnt work.

What i have notice is when he press the remote start button, the dash goes on, but there there is silent (no ignition cranking).

Any clues?

 

make sure all the ign,acc, key sense are hooked up right, neutral safety switch is ground'd, and the foot break is on the right wire, as well as if hes useing the tach wire or if he programd it to see voltage instead. if hes using the XK models that we use at work make sure that he flashd it to the right firmware.(for the remote start. unless he is using the 556uw) thats all the things i would look at.
