Default check engine light

currently doing a rwd conversion on my civic with a complete s2k as a donor car.
I have the engine and all the s2k wiring in the civic. its an 05 f22c. I removed the eps out of the wiring as well as all the evap solenoids and wiring. also the air assist pump and solenoid. I get a check engine light. I did the same on my 05 s2k unplugged everything under the hood, drove around for a few miles and nothing. I haven't pulled the codes yet, but seing if removing these emmisions items will throw a code? i also removed the fuel tank pressure sensor and solenoid from the charcoal canister mounted in the rear subframe.

im just trying to get rid of the cel. guess i need to pull the codes first.
engine starts and runs just have to finish some fab work.
here is the link if interested.
