Im thinking of buying a Clarion 10" Subwoofer DVC for the trunk of the S2K

Powering that will be a Clarion Amp

A local audio shop in my area sais they can make a Flush mounted box for the trunk-well for a good price. I am still debating wether to get an MP3 player or not...Im possibly going to go for the JVC MP3 with the PAC unit.

I know Clarion makes good decks but im not sure about Amps and their Speakers...can someone shed some light on the subject?? I may purchase this stuff for myself as a Christmas gift soon, so your input is much needed

I have a Clarion head unit that will be going into my S when I get it. It is several years old but I still like it alot and the sound is great. I also have a Clarion amplifier, it and 2 Rockford Fosgates will also be going in.

I am undecided on subs...I have lots of choice here.

So in short, I would say I like Clarion.

As far as good amps. My Clarion was a smaller unit 80Wx2, but I had it hooked up in mono so 200 x 1 and it drove 4 10 inch subs. On my driveway, I could shake the house windows. Soooo...you could say I was pretty happy...aahhhhh my younger days.

By the way...check out a place called the Speaker shop on Eglinton...they have lots of choice and are extremely knowledgable. They have some absolute monster subs there if you are undecided on subs.
