Default Closed Relay

Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a closed relay! Basically a relay that allows power to run through it until it receives a 12v current. When the relay is energized, the current is closed and the power is no longer allowed to flow through!

I have checked RadioShack and only found regular open ones

I checked McMaster but got lost reading through all of them!

Any insight would be appreciated!

I think any SPDT relay will work - IIRC it acts like a switch where power
flows through one contact when energized, and another when off. If
nothing's connected to the energized contact, no power will flow when
energized. Radio Shack should have them.
