Default Compustar alarm, to self install or pay?

I am going to be buying a compustar 2wss alarm for my new S. I had a compusar on my old one and it cost me about 800 installed, and I really didn't want to spend that again. I can get the alarm on ebay for about $300 and I wanted to know if the compustar is a lot more complicated than others. I have installed a few other alarms in the past (viper, ect...), but never a compustar. I am definatly not a wiring novice. I have done many car stereo's, done the wiring for a vortech supercharger box, ect. I know you can wire the remote entry and trunk pop directly to the stock system (right?). What about the rest? I know there was a wire that ran to my ignition (under the hood) that had to do with the remote start, and I know i need the imobilizer bypass box to work the remote start. Just trying to guage if it would be worth the hassle or if I should just buck up and pay it

Any help would be great!

Also, does anyone know anywhere to buy compustar systems for a decent price? I would rather buy from a store than off of ebay...

I paid about $500 installed for my CompuStar 2-way.

It took the professional installers certified by CompuStar the better part of a day to complete the install.

If it costs $300 on eBay, then my install costs were about $200. I had more than one installer on it at times so I am guessing there was mabey 8 hrs into the install. That's $25/hr in labor. Pretty good rate.

Is the $200 savings worth it to you? I cannot answer that one for you.

I figure its a pretty good deal all things considered, you all had any feedback on the python stuff? Way i figure hell DEI makes it all anyways probalby just a rebage from the same factory. ......
