Compustar alarms
Oh yeah. I did not do the install myself.
I also STRONGLY suggest against remote start on any manual transmission car. For just ONE of the many reasons why, check out S2000 Talk right now and look at the thread about rolling back on the driveway.

Yes I was aware of the dangers, and so I chose Compustar to minimize them. I was going to add more safety features but cant get the damn thing to work! I gave up longgg time ago, but will have to add it soon because I planned to use it as a turbo timer as well.
I have the SS version as well. A friend and I installed it, it took about 6 hours. He had already installed them in 2 other S2Ks. The other 2 he put remote start on. I don't get that great range as I opted not to put the ugly antenna on the window. I carved out a little section from the a pillar plastic and hid it in there. The remote is horribly large and if a key is touching it, the alarm will not recieve a signal. That is why the key ring cord is rope and not a metal chain. I was told that it breaks often at that point, but you cannot replace it with a metal strap. You would have to replace it with something plastic if you wanted something more secure. With the remote start, there is a process you have to follow for it to work. I bought the second remote as well, but cannot get both remotes to work. It's one or the other. Luckily, Compustar is in Washington and I can go to them and have them show me how to program them correctly.
