I recently purchase the Compustar and browsing through the search engine, trying to find the proper way of installing remote start for manual cars. I am aware of all the risks with autostart with running into your garage=)Alot of people said that there is a way to neutralize remote start if the car is in gear and if the E Brake is not up. Can someone tell me more about this? Also where can i get the alarm installed and willing to install remote start on a Manual. I dont think that Circuit City is willing to break the law. Thanks for all the input.

 

Compustar remote module is MADE for manual tranny cars. They have a safety system so that the car wont start if you dont do a series of steps before you shut it off the last time. It is a VERY hard alarm to install, so have a pro do it. Install will be over $600. If you are good with car electronics, youll be able to do it yourself in about a week. (I am NOT exaggerating.)
