Default Convertible Top Doesn't Work!

Hi, I'm new on the forum and I just bought an '06 white s2k. I installed a 10 inch infiniti sub with alpine amp 220 RMS yesterday from best buy. I know some of you may tell me this was my first mistake.

This AM, it was raining outside, so I decided to drive with top up, and when I pushed the button, the top would not move! Is this is a fuse? Could something have been done during the install? I took it to dealer on the way to work and he was gonna make me wait 1 hour to look at the fuse - and he said I might have burned some wiring because I installed a sub. This seems jaded and he came off as an ass.

If this is a fuse problem, what number is the fuse under the dash? Also, will I keep having this problem?

Did you have the console apart? You might have knocked the connection loose under the button.

Its easy to check, just pry up the console and check the connection.

It's either an under dash fuse or if you pulled the center console up, you un-plugged the harness clip.

The center console was not pulled up. What is the abbreviation for the fuse in the manual? It's not listed as convertible top. Also, will this fuse keep blowing from now on?

under dash fuse box:
#5 convertible top control unit, keyless entry, EPS control unit, gauge
assembly
#25 convertible top control unit, ECM, gauge assembly, heater control panel
** seems like if those were blown, you'd have greater problems **

under hood fuse box:
#52 Right convertible top motor
#55 Left convertible top motor

when you pull up the parking brake, does the light on the dash come on?

Yes, the parking brake light comes on. If I blew a fuse, then wouldnt the other compenents that fuse controls also not work? Now I don't know what could be the problem since keyless entry works as well as all others. I took it to Honda dealer. Will they rip me off? They know I just had a sub put in and I fear they will blame it on the sub and not let warranty cover this (prolly is the sub installs fault)

So I got it back from dealer. Turns out that during the sub install, the speed output sensor line was cut, so the car was thinking that it was still moving and not letting the top drop. Thanks everyone for their help!
