I have interest also. The only problem is that my CD changer is installed on that side. Will you make on for the right side also?

I like this idea too. Let's see if anyone will make this work!

Finished it this weekend - now have sub enclosures for both sides.

Is there any way you could build it bigger to accommodate .65 cu/ft sealed enclosure with a 10" sub on the right side?

The problem is the Trunk lid hinges - The only other options would be to add the volume on the back-side of the enclosure which would mean cutting into the trunk trim panel to make the most of the space. My original thought was to put a 10 in but the enclosure design would have been very complex and I did not want to cut anything (other than a small cutout for the speaker wire to go through) - The 8" enclosure is complex enough as it is.

I am installing a second 8" this week and believe I will have better sound than a single 10" - will post an update when completed.

Nice install! I am also thinking about making a custom enclosure for a 12" JL W0 driver I already have (maybe it can fit in the bottom of the trunk?), and I was wondering where could I get some guides for first timers in working with fiberglass?

Just a thought ...

In another thread that is currently active, someone is talking about Blaupunkt's new saucer subs. I wonder if they could be used in your custom box perhaps with some advantages?
