Custom Speaker Baskets
Two reasons:
1. I was discussing mold making with munckee on this thread and it got me itching to make something:
http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...threadid=173804
I figured it would be interesting to mold the part.
2. I didn't want wood in my door that lives outside.
I don't present this as a good idea, just an idea.

Way too much un-nessesary work for speaker spacers.......
However,
You had a good time, learned a few things, and did something yourself rather than pay for it. I give you my full respect and credit for that....DIY rules!

Ok, what did I learn?
- Making plastic parts from a mold is a lot of work, so there should be a good reason to do it. This project is not a good reason. A few layers of 1/4" plywood, a jig saw, and some glue would have this project done in a day.
