Custom Trunk Idea
You could do the vinyl work yourself... its super easy, and as for having S2000 in it that fairly easy as well. Just go to a art store and buy the letters and put them where ever you need them then wrap it in the vinyl.
Well I would go ahead and do that without a doubt if it were only 300 bucks. Wrapping the amp cover in vinyl would be cake, but the sub box, I dunno.
As far as the monitors, I wouldn't be willing to cut my dash, so I dunno where to go with that. The sunvisors would be a possibility but that would yield limited visibility.
I am going to go talk to them again about doing it without the vinyl and run the monitor idea by them to see if he has any ideas.

He only wanted 235 for all of it without the vinyl! That seems alot more do-able. I talked to him about the monitor and he said pretty much the only way it could be done was to cut the dash, and that would be very expensive.
So how does 235 sound?

Well, my Xtant is fan cooled, but do I need another built into the cover like Philips? And what do you mean by lights?
As far as price, I dunno, but just to recap they will raise the amp flush with the trunk, put plexi over the amp, and carpet around the "non-amp" area, then make a custom panel to mount a cap in on the other side of the trunk.

Think about air circulation, the amp needs to breathe. So if the Xtant fan blows into a small airspace, you may need to open it up to the rest of the trunk. As far as lights are concerned, see if he can hook up a few small lights on the underside of the amp mount, so your amps light up under the plexi. It's just an idea, for $235 you should get some "blingage."
John, could I possibly see some pics of your setup? And as far as the cap, hows this one http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=12811 ? Should I just go buy some LEDs or something to have him place in there?
