A cap isnt bling. Unless its a big chrom soundstream, its not bling at all. They are not symmetrical, you wont be molding it in, yada yadda, yadda. Get something else that is chrome, shiny, and whatever. Spend the 100 bucks on something blingier.....

I did intend to get the Soundstream cap and we were going to have it flush mounted to the side of the trunk where the wlaurent boxes go.

Can you expand on what you are suggesting?

 

The only way caps look good, is only when they are installed with a lot of custom work....ie John's install. They have 2 wires sticking out the top, so a generic mounting just makes the trunk look sloppy. This however, is my "humble" opinion.

It was my understanding that when mounted our way the wires would not be seen. The installer and I have not discussed this in detail however.

Would the Lucid box be an option? If I were to place my amp on top of the box, where would I run my wires?
