Believe me, I thought the same thing when I first had my system installed. All I had was a 475/4 amp running my entire system, which included a 10in JL sub inside a stealthbox. Even that hit pretty hard so I'm comfortable with the new setup going in now power wise

John, John, John. Why didn't you PM ME?! After my experience, I definitely gathered up some additional ideas. My setup is not straight bling, but does allow me to have 2 amps, 2 10's, nav, PS2, XM, and still have room for a huge travel bag or two golf bags.

And all removable for the track. And regardless what the cold weather folk say , JL is not bad equipment!

Skip....Any other time I probably would have. First, I figured you have enough on your hands at the moment. And second, I had some basic ideas that I wanted to do. The first was a bit extream, and so was the cost So that one was easy to rule out. The second is a bit more conservitive but still carries enough flash for me and has useable trunk space. I'll be headed up to the shop tomorrow to take a look at the mock-up in cardboard. I'll take some pic's so you can see what's going on

BTY....How's everything going???

Haven't even started yet. Will do so next week. I'm busy redoing my viewing room! Also, I added a half-bath downstairs. I'll have a fridge and a microwave down here to go along with the bathroom and there is already a small bedroom off the movie room. I'll never have to up stairs again!

Good luck with the process. I trust your judgement. So far your car looks almost as good as mine! If you could just get rid of all that yellow stuff on your Sebring, you'd be in like Flynn!

Thanks Skip. Boy...Your Mr Home improvement latey I cant do any of that stuff, so I just bought a new house instead Unfortunately, it wont be done untill June

I went up to the shop on Saturday, but they didnt have the mock-up done..I did forget one thing in my "What's going in list" and that was the trunk lock reverse camera. I'm also having video inputs installled back there. They did start pulling out my old equipment and I'm about ready to kill the people who did my first install. The amp was held in with two sided tape and the stealthbox was held in place with two large bolts that came right up through the trunkwell, so now I have two big holes in the well. They are going to close them up for me.

If you still have some ideas I may have some time to incorporate them. Lord know's I've picked Mikeys brain enough the past few weeks, I dont suppose another brain would hurt

Well, we had to make a few changes. The two 8's were just not going to work the way we wanted to use them, so we scrapped the idea and went with 1 12in AlumaPro sub in a custom enclosure. The last I was at the shop they had the amp racks buit and the trunk lid panel done with two Alpine 7in monitors installed. I'm hoping everything is finished up by early next week.
