Default Dash Controls

I called this morning to one of the locals Audio Xpress shops and asked them about this job and was quoted a $120 for the "part" and $1 for the installation. Is this price reasonable? Im not a techie at all and never work on my cars.

Thanks for the input.

If you have a alpine deck, depending on what model it is, you should get the modifry IR DCI which is a wireless Dash Control Interface specifically made for s2k. a lot of the people on this forum use it and like it.

$1 installation always sounds fishy to me btw.

Second the DCI. Go here to check it out. http://www.modifry.com/products/dci/index.htm It's really easy to install even if you don't know much about electronics. I would recommend you get Modifry's harness adapter too, it comes with the extra wires so you don't have to tap wires.
