Im currently in the process of building a system for my 03 but need to check whether you can fit a flip front screen in the original headunit spot or if the original position is too deep for the screen to flip out into a position where it can actually be watched.

Can anyone help before i start chopping the dash to put a double din unit in

You cannot fit a flip up screen in the stock location, you will have to put it in dash. As far as double DIN in the dash, the enclosure you make will have extend beyond the plane of the dash in order to fit it (due to lack of room behind the dash of course)
