Small question but its getting me aggrivated today...Well,the left dash remote volume control switch feels odd for me today all of a sudden..(or i might be going crazy).Is it supposed to feel like a clicking sound when switching it up or down?.Cause it randomly feels like when Im putting it up its a regular lil click..but when hitting down,it feels like its sticking inside there somewhere(not clicking,like as if liquid spilled in there somehow,,even though it didnt)..
any help/advice?if so,,thanks in advance..(or is it simple to take off the button,?how)

 

inside the switch is a little connecting rod that pushes a rubber 'spring' that actually hits the button on the pc board... i dont see how the 'click' would be odd, unless either the rubber is worn out (highly doubt that) or the switch is going bad.

 

I meant that the clicking (when hitting switch UP) is normal..like its alwys been..a sharp click ya know...
But its when I hit the volume Down when its much softer and not sharp..you understand?
so I dont know what to do,,its driving me more n more crazy this last few days..I dont feel like taking apart the whole console/dash to get behind this..The switch defint. doesnt pull out does it? damnitt
(i may just have to claim thru insurance as 'totalled' then)
