Default DCI with Sony MEX-R1 - Control Issues

Ok, so i have my DCI wired up to my Sony MEX-R1..

the controls just seem wierd...

for cd:

Hold ch and press down.. it goes back a track.. hold down source and press down.. it goes back a track..

hold ch or source and press up.. and it changes the track info..

pressing just the source only turns it off.. and not back on..

any ideas as to what the deal is?

it says on the dci to check my manual for the settings (but i can't find it! )

thanks!

I went to the marketplace, and clicked on the DCI. Included in the description of the item was this link:

http://www.modifry.com/products/dci/

It has the directions for the DCI

i know what the buttons are supposed to do, i just want to know why it would be doing this?

what should the jumper settings be for this head unit?

what else would cause this?

Check the troubleshooting FAQ:

http://www.modifry.com/products/dci/help.htm

Or the installation guide:
